After their debut 45 in march,  Soul Dynamite  announced their 2nd release this weekend. The 7 inch vinyl will be out around July 31, 2018. This release is a Hip Hop 45 by Mr. Lif, produced by EL-P. The songs named "Return of the B-Boy" (Part I and Part II on the flipside) are two different styles and where first released on Mr. Lifs 2002 Album "I Phantom". Part I is a classical Hip Hop tune with deep dark 92 BPM beats in a kind of Cypres Hill style with some really cool scratches on the beat. Part II ist a more brokenbeatish track turning up the tempo to about 117 BPM (depending on how you count that broken monster!!!). The broken beats of part II are filled with spheric synthesizer sounds that are also providing a deep feeling. Part II is reminding me of the 1988/1989 Electro tracks "Professor X" by " Professor X " and also the "X-Men" by "The X-Men" that is on the same EP. This beat challenged the MC as well as me when...

Dont know who is behind R.T.D.T. Records, but it seems that Jorun Bombay is involved with his releases in this thing. They are located in the UK. In this shop you can get mixtapes of Jorun Bombays "Rock The Diskothek"-series and also 7 inch vinyl of edits from 80s live Hip Hop action. First one (i missed) was from Kool Moe Dee vs. Busy Bee Starsky. The second one is from Sha Rock & Lisa Lee with DJ Jazzy Jay. Both are/where limited to 300 pieces not to be repressed. So go and check them out before they are gone! Burning Sole Records based in Basel, Switzerland offering funky music on vinyl. Founded in 2017 they have releases from DJ Tron and PYRO so far. The releases are limited. The DJ Tron "I Feel Funky" was limited to 100 pieces in black and 100 pieces in beige vinyl. Nothing more to say, but this sh** is funky. Dusty Donuts back again! The summer vibes of the new Dusty Donuts 45 will hit you by end of June so your summer will be hot or not. Why not? Because here you get some relaxed, cool tracks for the summer time. Those will cool you down in summer while sitting in the sun. A reflip of the song "For The Love Of You" by the Isley Brothers is the on the a-side. Jim Dunloops "The Love Ride" reflip is a groovy, souly edit of the song with some extra Hip Hop samples on top. On the b-side is a cool edit of the song "Diamond Girl" by Seals & Croft from 1973 edited by Naughty NMX and Marc Hype. It's added Hip Hop beats give this song a groovy foundation for your summer parties. Dusty Donuts keep their path with the mixture of a soulish, hiphopish flavor like they did with DD012 and D013. Here are some 45s i dug on a flea market in Ochsenfurt, Germany. I found at last three people selling 45s. When i was almost thru the whole area i saw a man closing his stall and wanting to leave. He was just putting a blanket over some 45s i spied and i asked to look thru them. There where about 600 45s and i only picked the ones i really needed, because he seemed to be in a hurry, but i was really satisfied with what i had.  Mainly i picked the 45s in ability to play them on parties. Easy Now Records from Melbourne, Australia is a label that mashes (mixes) Hip Hop and Reggae styles together into cool Party Blends. Their releases all have white labels with a stamp on it and they are all 45s. (Not the digital releases 😁) They differ between "Easy Edits" that are black 45s and "Ltd Editions" on colored vinyl. The "Ltd Editions" are released on 300 pieces and the "Easy Edits" are released on a smaller number of pieces. The sound is perfect summer music. As i ordered mine on a sunny day in may, i think that was the vibe i was into at this moment that made me ordering those 45s. First World Records style is Hip Hop and Funk in all kind of varieties. Founded by frustration about  the actual releases in the music industry in 2003.  I found out about them as i saw the "Children of Zeus" 7inch "Slow Down / All Night" in my Bandcamp feed. This Release is a Hip Hop / Soul track, that reminds me of the Bad Boy / Jermain Dupri tracks that where out in the 90s. Especially the beats.  By digging to their backcatalogue i found some funky, brassy stuff that i really liked. The releases are not only 7 inch vinyl. You also get 12 inches, LPs, CDs and Tapes as well as some other merch.  The First World Records Store is a collection of artist stores that are sent together by the label if you order different artists. You have to get through the releases / artists to find your stuff what. As far as i can say, if you like futuristic sounds you should dig through this store to find some "jazzy beats", funky and "heavy basslines...

There is more on this store than only one label. There are KiNETiK Records, Preset and InFact Recordings. They bring you all kind of electronic music on almost every format. Vinyl, CD and Tape all are welcome. Some recordings are in a straight way produced that have a song like structure and there are some recordings that are experimental soundscapes that take you on a journey. And now to something completely different: I stumbled upon this label on instagram (follow me @45evenheaven ). They are releasing Grindcore. Some of their releases are on 7 inch vinyl. As some of my roots are into heavy metal, i'm used to guitars in any kind of being played and here you are getting your package of full guitar sound. I actually was surprised to hear such music on a 45 and i must say, that i liked what i heard. The 45s in their shop are colorful. Almost every release you can buy in colored vinyl, but there is also black. Not my "Every-Day-Music" but on some days this fits! Check their store here: Grindpromotion Records Store
