Melting Pot Music Logo Melting Pot Music is a label that is on since 2002. They feature a lot of styles like Soul, Beats and Hip Hop. As i found out while surfing on my 45-trip in the internet. They also sell 45s in their mail order. The 45s are all in the genres that i wrote above.  One of those 45s is a 10 Years HHV/MPM release. This one is also the last 7inch released by Melting Pot Music. Sadly it is from 2012. But you should definitively check the releases in the store. News News News.. Tramp Records 45s released some new stuff. Today there was coming in the new "Number Nine Records" with German Hip Hop by "Teecain" (aka MC Teekanne) from Munich. "Rentners Rap" is about being retired as a Rapper and watching the actual business on a nice funky guitar beats. "Brudermuehl No. 1" is a more chilly Track. Seems like Munich still is the No. 1 City for Hip Hop that is more real life than gangster. Also cuts on "Brudermuehl No.1" are from Munich using David Pes vocals from the track "München halt" from Main Concept ft. Blumentopf (the best known Munich Hip Hop crews). Behind Soul Flip there are the two DJs Del Gazeebo and Aldo Vanucci. "Don't call it a comeback, for us it never went away." is what they say on their Facebook site. With Soul Flip they started to release edits of funk and soul classics. With that new style those classics rock every party even more. Breakin Bread record label is part of a London based collective. Funk, Soul, Latin, Breaks, Beats and Hip Hop are the genres they are featuring. Next to the label they are also running a club night and a radio show. On the label they are releasing Funk, Soul, Hip Hop with lot of breaks and beats to get the B-Boys dancing. Jazzman is the over brand of some 45s-labels like FUNK45, SOUL7, Popcorn, Fryers, RnB Hits and more. These labels release all kind of genres from soul, RnB, blues, funk, etc. and of course jazz.  The idea behind this label or better how it started was, that the founder "Jazzman" Gerald had the idea of re-releasing old records that where hard to find or only available for those who could afford them. Or to make it short: that everybody could enjoy good music. So he connected with the right-holders and artists to make it possible that you can buy classic tunes on 45s.  In the Jazzman Store you can also get stuff from other labels and in other formats. Dusty Donuts back again! The summer vibes of the new Dusty Donuts 45 will hit you by end of June so your summer will be hot or not. Why not? Because here you get some relaxed, cool tracks for the summer time. Those will cool you down in summer while sitting in the sun. A reflip of the song "For The Love Of You" by the Isley Brothers is the on the a-side. Jim Dunloops "The Love Ride" reflip is a groovy, souly edit of the song with some extra Hip Hop samples on top. On the b-side is a cool edit of the song "Diamond Girl" by Seals & Croft from 1973 edited by Naughty NMX and Marc Hype. It's added Hip Hop beats give this song a groovy foundation for your summer parties. Dusty Donuts keep their path with the mixture of a soulish, hiphopish flavor like they did with DD012 and D013. Cold Busted is a label from Los Angeles, California, United States. Their style is Funk, Trip Hop, Beats and Instrumental Hip Hop. That all comes with the different flavors of Soul, Jazz, Reggae... As they have a wide range of artists they also have a wide range of styles packed in a wide range of formats providing their music. You can get 7 inch Vinyl, 12 inch Vinyl, CDs, Tapes and of course nowadays digital downloads.   Cold Busted is a label made with love. The love for music and everything that comes with it, the art of presentation in coverart, videos, etc. The music is timeless and also something that moves forward. First World Records style is Hip Hop and Funk in all kind of varieties. Founded by frustration about  the actual releases in the music industry in 2003.  I found out about them as i saw the "Children of Zeus" 7inch "Slow Down / All Night" in my Bandcamp feed. This Release is a Hip Hop / Soul track, that reminds me of the Bad Boy / Jermain Dupri tracks that where out in the 90s. Especially the beats.  By digging to their backcatalogue i found some funky, brassy stuff that i really liked. The releases are not only 7 inch vinyl. You also get 12 inches, LPs, CDs and Tapes as well as some other merch.  The First World Records Store is a collection of artist stores that are sent together by the label if you order different artists. You have to get through the releases / artists to find your stuff what. As far as i can say, if you like futuristic sounds you should dig through this store to find some "jazzy beats", funky and "heavy basslines...

The idea behind Colemine Records is to release "raw, authentic" soul music on vinyl. The label was created by some guys wanted to get their music released and got into funk/soul when they released their first 45. But you can read their story here  before i tell you something wrong. I stumbled across them online in the german online store i buy most of my records (I buy there also because of tracking my package and of course the local factor, that not every 7" i order has to travel half around the globe and i thing that will save our environment). They have great releases out by artists like Orgone, Jungle Fire.... Their releases are available in black ans sometimes also in color. Some of them are limited editions and are sold out very quickly. So if you don't place a preorder you may don't get a copy of the wanted 45. Daytoner is a DJ/producer from Cornwall, UK and also a live band. This 45 is from the band and on it you will find two funky (northern) soul tracks with a great female voice. This one sounds like original from back in the days but i think that this comes around with a lot of energy that, for me, is missing on some of the old records. "Need You" and "Sicka" are to tracks that will definitively move your feet and if you got the chance to see them live, check them out. The videos i've seen are amazing. Lugnut Brand Records is a label located in Pittsburg, California. Their style is funk, soul and RnB. Most of it instrumentals with a large amount of funky organ sounds. As you may expect, they release their stuff on 45s. Their releases are from bands like "The M-Tet", "The Vicious Seeds", "Pawn Shop Soul" and more. A track by Flipout and Nick Bike. I heard that song first when i ordered in  Nick Bikes Bandcamp store.  I thought "what a sorrow that this gem is sold out on a 45". Now it is Back. Aloha Got Soul Logo Aloha Got Soul is a label that is based on a blog. Their Mission is to bring Hawaiian music to the public and show the world their different styles. The records are Funk and Soul music on 45s. They also have a event located in Hawaii, Chicago and Tokyo called "Soul Time". It is not the only event, but this is the root event of the label. Aloha Got Soul is also hosting other events in the genres Funk, Soul Disco, Boogie, etc. played by all-vinyl DJs. As it all started with a blog, you can read it here . 45/7 Vinyl Club is a monthly club event at the Cafe Jazz / Mojo Club in Hamburg, Germany and also a monthly podcast/mixtape show on Soundcloud and Mixcloud. Today they released their 45th mixtape, which is linked  here . The No. 45 mix is from Felox who is also the founder of the 45/7 Vinyl Club. He is also the resident of the Clubnight in Hamburg. On their mixtapes they featured DJs like Marc Hype, DJ Friction, Freddy Fresh and many more. They also have a different and fabulous design for their mixtape covers from a painter from hamburg called Hanke, like you can see here. The featured styles are almost everything from Hip Hop to House, Reggae to Soul, Funk to Rock and so on. Boogieburg is a Virginia based Record label for funky music giving you a wide range of styles from Ghetto Funk style to Oldschool / Hip Hop Funk. 45 Live Records is the label of 45 Live. 45 Live is a website/community about celebrating the 45's DJ culture (as they describe it them selves).  On the label they release music with a mixxture from Breaks, Dancehall, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop and so on. The music is always danceable and groovy.  You can buy the releases here: 45 Live Shop As the label is only a part of this movement, there is more. As it started as a party in Bristol. They have a radio show comming from L.A. every 1st and 3rd Friday in conjunction with Dublab. Munter Records is the name of a spanish label with some sub-labels. Next to Munster there are the labels Electro Harmonix, Vampisoul, Vinilísssimo, Geometrik and Related. As there are so many labels, the genres served are about 40. Most i heard where Spanish-speaking. There are also rereleases from international artists like Marta Kubisová. I stumbled upon them because i searched for a release, that i didn't find in the big stores i used to order my 45s or it was sold out. it was a release by Vampisoul and i was lucky when i found the Munster Records Shop. Munster Records Website and Shop One thing that i think is cool is: Monster Records has the "Munster Singles Club". For 50,00 € a year (plus postage) you get three 7" vinyls every three month. The Munsters Single Club is dating back to 1989 and as they say the longest-running Singles Club in the World. Mukatsuku is a Label that rereleases older stuff or releases music for the first time on 7" Vinyl. I stumbled upon them with the first 7" records i ordered. I liked their sleeve style so i ordered MUKAT049 with "Anne & Annice Peters - Rock Your Baby" on it. (Check the video below) Their style is many styles. From Reggae to Disco to Funk to Soul. They are supporting the 7" Vinyl Lover with a lot of equipment that you can need playing records. From slipmats to single adapters, disc stabilizers, record bags and more. I own some of their equipment too. My first 7" vinyl bag was from them also i use their slipmats and single adapters.  More Information you can find on their  Facebook  site. Waxnerds; some guys with a lot of love for vinyl (wax) started to release their own music on their own. The style is jazz, funk, soul and hip hop influenced. Their release "Dominoes" was my first international bandcamp order as a DJ double and i never will regret this order. I "played" with this tune for hours when i got it in my hands.
