First World Records on Bandcamp

First World Records style is Hip Hop and Funk in all kind of varieties. Founded by frustration about  the actual releases in the music industry in 2003. 

I found out about them as i saw the "Children of Zeus" 7inch "Slow Down / All Night" in my Bandcamp feed. This Release is a Hip Hop / Soul track, that reminds me of the Bad Boy / Jermain Dupri tracks that where out in the 90s. Especially the beats. 


By digging to their backcatalogue i found some funky, brassy stuff that i really liked. The releases are not only 7 inch vinyl. You also get 12 inches, LPs, CDs and Tapes as well as some other merch. 


The First World Records Store is a collection of artist stores that are sent together by the label if you order different artists. You have to get through the releases / artists to find your stuff what. As far as i can say, if you like futuristic sounds you should dig through this store to find some "jazzy beats", funky and "heavy basslines" as well as all kind Hip Hop styles with a lot of soul.

Mukatsuku Records (Label and more)

Mukatsuku is a Label that rereleases older stuff or releases music for the first time on 7" Vinyl. I stumbled upon them with the first 7" records i ordered. I liked their sleeve style so i ordered MUKAT049 with "Anne & Annice Peters - Rock Your Baby" on it. (Check the video below) Their style is many styles. From Reggae to Disco to Funk to Soul. They are supporting the 7" Vinyl Lover with a lot of equipment that you can need playing records. From slipmats to single adapters, disc stabilizers, record bags and more. I own some of their equipment too. My first 7" vinyl bag was from them also i use their slipmats and single adapters.  More Information you can find on their  Facebook  site. As they have no direct sale you have to order their stuff at  Juno , but Juno sells all their stuff and their vinyl in those exclusive sleeves you can see in the picture. Me DJing at a company event I'm Clemens  Esperanza. First the main thing: after a long time buying only digital music and some limited vinyls i realized in 2017 that i really enjoy sitting down and listen to vinyl  while reading. The first vinyls where a release by german acid techno act "Hardfloor", later followed by some Dusty Donuts 7", a release from  Skeewif on 7" and a Mukatsuku 7". As i enjoyed the 7" vinyl format, i begann diggin'. Soon i found out about artists selling directly on bandcamp and other stores in the internet. As i saved the links in my browser tab, i decided to make them public and started this blog. My musical history: My passion for vinyl began, when i startet to DJ about 1992. My musical roots are different genres. It started with Heavy Metal, came to Hip Hop and later to Techno. Our Label Records is a label that brings you funk in all variants, jazz, rare grooves and more on 7"vinyl. The label is owned by two brothers that share their love for music. On Our Label Records they release funk from Russia, Canada, UK, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and so on. The label is located in Hamburg, Germany. There is also a sister label called Origu. The style of Origu is Hip Hop. On Origu they release acts like Andy Cooper, Substantial, Deep Breez and more.
