Straight Outlaw Glasgow there comes a 7“ by Krash Slaughta called „Rebel Base“. Side A contains the original and Side 2 the Remix of „Rebel Base“.  A 130 bpm Hip Hop bomb with raps by Phill Most Chill. Oldschool Hip Hop Beats, broken on a high speed for B-Boys to Dance to. Starting with the beat and followed by scratches also on a high speed. This one reminds me of the first Hip Hop tapes i got from some skater friends in the late 80s with PE and other stuff  on it, also the beginning of german Hip Hop at that time. The beats are not only filled with raps and scratches, there are also spheric sounds, outer space samples and samples from sience fiction movies. This mixture makes this track explosive like a proton torpedo hitting the death star. Once again "OG DJ Records" come came along with another "Test Pressing": This time it is the "Crooklyn Dogers" with "Crooklyn Dogers" and "Return of the Crooklyn Dogers". This group was formed to make music for some Spike Lee films in 1994 and 1995. The first '94 Track was produced by Q-Tip from ATCQ and featured Buckshop, Masta Ace and Special Ed. The second track from 1995 was produced by DJ Premier and featured Chubb Rock, Jeru the Damaja and O.C. So what you get is Oldschool Hip Hop from the "second Golden Age" of Hip Hop. Once again it is the b-side that got me. Why? Because of "Das EFX". The night before the official release i listened to a snippet on Facebook. Thought that it is a good release, but i don't need it to be shipped from Australia to Germany. The next morning, when i got up, i recived the Bandcamp notification about the release and listened to the a-side (again) and then to the b-side "boombap fever". Baaam thinking about that i don't need this one the lyrics from "Das EFX" kicked in and ..... ..... I NEED THAT. So Australia got me once again this month. After "The Traffic" DJ Maars got me. Dusty Donuts back again! The summer vibes of the new Dusty Donuts 45 will hit you by end of June so your summer will be hot or not. Why not? A reflip of the song "For The Love Of You" by the Isley Brothers is the on the a-side. Jim Dunloops "The Love Ride" reflip is a groovy, souly edit of the song with some extra Hip Hop samples on top. On the b-side is a cool edit of the song "Diamond Girl" by Seals & Croft from 1973 edited by Naughty NMX and Marc Hype. It's added Hip Hop beats give this song a groovy foundation for your summer parties. Dusty Donuts keep their path with the mixture of a soulish, hiphopish flavor like they did with DD012 and D013. After some teasing in the mid of January, Boca 45 finally put out his first club donut. On this donut you get party flavor allover.
