As i was into Mashups some years of my Dj Career, somehow i stumbled across "DJ Detweiler" and his "flute drop". Last week i found out through some of my existing Mashup Channels, that he has a limited 7" out called "The Eminem Paradox" together with "DJ Dadmagnet". The release is limited to 150 pieces. As it is not available for prelistening it is some kind of lottery to buy it. But you can wait till it drops and some one posts a video or snippet where you can hear it or just risk it and order one of the 150 45s you almost don't know anything about! Rocafort Records are back with a new release. They bring us a funk 45 from L'Eclair. The six men band from Geneva bring us two instrumental funk bangers. As they describe their genre "Exogroove post internet" they bring you groovy down to earth funk with oldschool and afro flavors. On the A-Side is a composition by the band it's self called "Funky Splash". The B-Side "O Caminho Do Bem" is a cover version from brazilian Tim Maia.
