45 Live Records is the label of 45 Live. 45 Live is a website/community about celebrating the 45's DJ culture (as they describe it them selves).  On the label they release music with a mixxture from Breaks, Dancehall, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop and so on. The music is always danceable and groovy.  You can buy the releases here: 45 Live Shop As the label is only a part of this movement, there is more. As it started as a party in Bristol. They have a radio show comming from L.A. every 1st and 3rd Friday in conjunction with Dublab. On the show they have guestmixes from DJs like: Boca 45, DJ Format, Marc Hype, Aeon Seven, DJ Suspect and Mr. Thing to name a few. After some teasing in the mid of January, Boca 45 finally put out his first club donut. On this donut you get party flavor allover. A smooth Hip Hop beat with a handclaping feeling on the A-side called "Fat Back Boys" and a track called "Les Beats" that mashes samples from the Beatles and the Beastie Boys. Flip aka Umberto Ghetto is DJ of the Austrias Hip Hop Crew "Texta". "Texta is well know in the German-speaking Hip Hop scene. As Flip he created the two 7" Vinyls "Bad Breaks Vol. I" and "Bad Breaks Vol. II". Those can best be described as Party Breaks. On his Bandcamp Site you can also find other stuff from him. I got mail from Munster Records in Spain. On sunday i found out that a record from the label "Vampisoul" i wanted for some time and couldn't get in the store i listened to it is avaiable in the Munster Records Store . I ordered on sunday evening and got my confirmation e-mail on monday. I was really surprised when i found the package in my mailbox on thursday. So it took three days from Spain to Germany. I'm lucky. As a bonus there was a double CD and a sticker (i 💚 stickers) in this package.

Me DJing at a company event I'm Clemens  Esperanza. First the main thing: after a long time buying only digital music and some limited vinyls i realized in 2017 that i really enjoy sitting down and listen to vinyl  while reading. The first vinyls where a release by german acid techno act "Hardfloor", later followed by some Dusty Donuts 7", a release from  Skeewif on 7" and a Mukatsuku 7". As i enjoyed the 7" vinyl format, i begann diggin'. Soon i found out about artists selling directly on bandcamp and other stores in the internet. As i saved the links in my browser tab, i decided to make them public and started this blog. My musical history: My passion for vinyl began, when i startet to DJ about 1992. My musical roots are different genres. It started with Heavy Metal, came to Hip Hop and later to Techno. Munter Records is the name of a spanish label with some sub-labels. Next to Munster there are the labels Electro Harmonix, Vampisoul, Vinilísssimo, Geometrik and Related. As there are so many labels, the genres served are about 40. Most i heard where Spanish-speaking. There are also rereleases from international artists like Marta Kubisová. I stumbled upon them because i searched for a release, that i didn't find in the big stores i used to order my 45s or it was sold out. it was a release by Vampisoul and i was lucky when i found the Munster Records Shop. Munster Records Website and Shop One thing that i think is cool is: Monster Records has the "Munster Singles Club". For 50,00 € a year (plus postage) you get three 7" vinyls every three month. The Munsters Single Club is dating back to 1989 and as they say the longest-running Singles Club in the World. Bongo Joe Records is a recordstore and bar Geneva Switzerland. Les Disques Bongo Joe is the label. the label features genres like afrobeat, worldmusic, latin and more. The releases sound to me a little bit unconventional, every one special in it's own kind. They don't only sell 7" vinyl. You can also buy 12", LPs, CDs and cassettes. The 7" format is always special. Here you can get all the 72 Vinyl from DJ Nick Bike as long as it is not sold out. Nick Bike is a two time regional Red Bull 3style champion. The vinyls you can buy are Hip-Hop and Funk edits. Death Pop Record describe their sound as weird, eccentric, underground music. Thats how it sounds! You are looking for the mainstream sound? Then you are absolutely wrong here. What i listened to was kind of a soundtrack for a dark, Last Days, zombie, etc. movie scene in a freaked out bar with aliens, freaks, unicorns! It blew my mind. Mukatsuku is a Label that rereleases older stuff or releases music for the first time on 7" Vinyl. I stumbled upon them with the first 7" records i ordered. I liked their sleeve style so i ordered MUKAT049 with "Anne & Annice Peters - Rock Your Baby" on it. (Check the video below) Their style is many styles. From Reggae to Disco to Funk to Soul. They are supporting the 7" Vinyl Lover with a lot of equipment that you can need playing records. From slipmats to single adapters, disc stabilizers, record bags and more. I own some of their equipment too. My first 7" vinyl bag was from them also i use their slipmats and single adapters.  More Information you can find on their  Facebook  site. As they have no direct sale you have to order their stuff at  Juno , but Juno sells all their stuff and their vinyl in those exclusive sleeves you can see in the picture. Sometimes you get an extra with their stuff. E.g. a 7" vinyl with the record bag.

Ella is the name of a guy and his (in 2011) 8 month old daughter. As his daughter loves the sound of the 303 he gave her the opportunity to play with the buttons and together they programmed the sounds that are on this release. Lovely story. Acid sound. Once again I made a little video. I´m trying out to make videos. Just for fun. At the moment i´m using my smartphone to record them. My goal was to make a video that is about 15 minutes long, playing music out of my collection. No preparation. Hit the start button (here more "lift the tonearm") and go. I´m still trying out my "summertime" equipment: two Numark PT01 scratch and a iRig Mix. Both can be used with battery. The tracks played: David Bowie - Fame ´90 (Remix ft. Here is a picture of 58 45s i got secondhand on Ebay. It was a complete package, all or nothing. At the first look there where 30 of them really what i was looking for. By listening to the others i found out, that there where more usable among them! I was totally amazed! It contained: Eric B. & Rakim (three 45s), Herbie Hancock (two 45s), De La Soul, Mantronix, Beastie Boys, Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, M/A/R/R/S, MC Miker G & DJ Sven, and many more.

Waxnerds; some guys with a lot of love for vinyl (wax) started to release their own music on their own. The style is jazz, funk, soul and hip hop influenced. Their release "Dominoes" was my first international bandcamp order as a DJ double and i never will regret this order. I "played" with this tune for hours when i got it in my hands. This is a lilac, kinda purple, 7" vinyl. Anthrax is a thrash band i used to be am fan of in since the 80s. I used to drum on boxes to their music in my grandmothers basement. When i saw this single in December 2017 i decided to buy the lilac one. It is also available in black, gold silver and as clear vinyl. The release is limited on 1500 pieces for the Black Friday "Record Store Day" 2016. For me it is kinda nostalgic to own a thrash 7". Metal was the first genre in music i discovered on my self to be fan of. More info on discogs

Tramp Records is a tiny label from Germany. They release new bands but also re-issue older Funk, Soul and Jazz records. Here you only get 7" vinyl: Tramp Records 45s on Bandcamp This is the store for all stuff (incl. Compilations, LPs, etc.) Tramp Rec.

Choi Records is also a small label that is on bandcamp. One of their artists is "The Traffic" a group brought together by the guy who is also responsible for "Cookin' on 3 Burners" ("Cookin' on 3 Burners" hat a massive hit with the kungs remix of their song "This Girl"). The sound of "The Traffic" e.g. is funky, breaky interpretations of well known songs like "Super Freak" from Rick James or "Like I Love You" from Justin Timberlake. Rocaford Records is a label based in Barcelona, Spain. They are re-releasing and editing tracks to bring them back on the decks. Most tracks on the label are rare recordings they searched around the world.
