"OG DJ Records" labeled "Test Pressing"

This is a release from a bootleg label called "OG DJ Records" they release Hip Hop on a limited range. I managed to get one of the green ones. On it is the Pete Rock remix of "House of Pain - Jump around. Sadly for me it is the only one i could get. The other ones where sold out very fast.

On the Fatbeats record store i found out about the other releases. As i first looked up the newest ones where there as coming soon. About a half month later they all where sold out. Hope i will have luck with their next release.

As far as i know there are four releases out:
  • House of Pain - Jump around (Pete Rock remix) (limited 100 pieces)
  • Drake - Hotline Bling / Timmy Thomas - Why can't we live together (limited 100 pieces)
  • Nas - The World is yours (Q-Tip remix)/It ain't hard to tell (Large Professor Remix) (limited 200 pieces)
  • D'Angelo - Devils Pie/Lady (DJ Premiere remix) (limited 200 pieces)

Mukatsuku Records (Label and more)

Mukatsuku is a Label that rereleases older stuff or releases music for the first time on 7" Vinyl. I stumbled upon them with the first 7" records i ordered. I liked their sleeve style so i ordered MUKAT049 with "Anne & Annice Peters - Rock Your Baby" on it. (Check the video below) Their style is many styles. From Reggae to Disco to Funk to Soul. They are supporting the 7" Vinyl Lover with a lot of equipment that you can need playing records. From slipmats to single adapters, disc stabilizers, record bags and more. I own some of their equipment too. My first 7" vinyl bag was from them also i use their slipmats and single adapters.  More Information you can find on their  Facebook  site. As they have no direct sale you have to order their stuff at  Juno , but Juno sells all their stuff and their vinyl in those exclusive sleeves you can see in the picture. Me DJing at a company event I'm Clemens  Esperanza. First the main thing: after a long time buying only digital music and some limited vinyls i realized in 2017 that i really enjoy sitting down and listen to vinyl  while reading. The first vinyls where a release by german acid techno act "Hardfloor", later followed by some Dusty Donuts 7", a release from  Skeewif on 7" and a Mukatsuku 7". As i enjoyed the 7" vinyl format, i begann diggin'. Soon i found out about artists selling directly on bandcamp and other stores in the internet. As i saved the links in my browser tab, i decided to make them public and started this blog. My musical history: My passion for vinyl began, when i startet to DJ about 1992. My musical roots are different genres. It started with Heavy Metal, came to Hip Hop and later to Techno. New 45 Live release by Type-303

The description doesn´t really say if it is a 7 inch or not, but as it is a 45 Live release i expect it to be a 7 inch. 😉 For the 10th release 45 Live bring back acid. If you know me as a DJ you know that i come from electronic music and my big love in producing music myself is acid. I always wanted to have a 303 and a drum machine to make acid. (BTW i now own a TB-03 and a TR-08 of the Roland Boutique line 😉) As 45 Live say on their Bandcamp, this release is 303 and 909 in FULL EFFECT, but i would say "with some added breaks and samples". The song "Sticky Disco" by Type-303 is a acid track, sub genre hip-acid-house, using some of the most iconic "Acccccciiiiiid"-Samples that are out there and a cool piano chord that sounds as "Summer of Love" as the rest of the track.
