As i was into Mashups some years of my Dj Career, somehow i stumbled across "DJ Detweiler" and his "flute drop". Last week i found out through some of my existing Mashup Channels, that he has a limited 7" out called "The Eminem Paradox" together with "DJ Dadmagnet". The release is limited to 150 pieces. As it is not available for prelistening it is some kind of lottery to buy it. But you can wait till it drops and some one posts a video or snippet where you can hear it or just risk it and order one of the 150 45s you almost don't know anything about! Get it here: "The Eminem Paradox" on Big Cartel Check all Chin Stroke stuff here: Chin Stroke Records on Big Cartel Here is a video of the Chin Stroke 001 a 7" by DJ Detweiler:

Jazzman is the over brand of some 45s-labels like FUNK45, SOUL7, Popcorn, Fryers, RnB Hits and more. These labels release all kind of genres from soul, RnB, blues, funk, etc. and of course jazz.  The idea behind this label or better how it started was, that the founder "Jazzman" Gerald had the idea of re-releasing old records that where hard to find or only available for those who could afford them. Or to make it short: that everybody could enjoy good music. So he connected with the right-holders and artists to make it possible that you can buy classic tunes on 45s.  In the Jazzman Store you can also get stuff from other labels and in other formats. They also offer accessories from sleeves to t-shirts to 45 adapters. Check the 45s from Jazzman in the store here: Jazzman Labels 7"

Picture "stolen" from hhv.de for style reasons One of the big German online vinyl stores comes along with some Boombap Hip Hop 45s. As the attention to 45s is growing and the No.1 Genre seems to be changed from Soul to Hip Hop, "hhv" is bringing you some BoomBap Classics. Those classics are released as limited edition 300 pieces. First one was: "Da Bush Babees - Brooklyn Movement", followed by "Juggaknots - Clear Blue Skyes/Rob Swift - I'm leaving" and as third end of July there was "Das EFX - Real Hip Hop". As i wrote in my post about  Easy Now Records , you can always get me with some "Das EFX". So they got me now. I'm looking forward to more cool Boombap 45s from "hhv" coming soon, as the first three came in a period of about 2 to 3 weeks between the releases. As the first one is already sold out, if you want some try your luck here:  hhv Boombap 45s "Das EFX coming":

Once again "OG DJ Records" come came along with another "Test Pressing": This time it is the "Crooklyn Dogers" with "Crooklyn Dogers" and "Return of the Crooklyn Dogers". The second track from 1995 was produced by DJ Premier and featured Chubb Rock, Jeru the Damaja and O.C. So what you get is Oldschool Hip Hop from the "second Golden Age" of Hip Hop. Read my first post about OG DJ Records here . I got notice of this release by the #45bandits  on Facebook and this time i was quick enough to place a order. This is a private pressing with only 150 pieces. You can try your luck and enter your E-Mail at Fatbeats HERE . May be you get a notification when they find some back stock somewhere. 😁 The 1994 version:

Once again it is the b-side that got me. Why? Because of "Das EFX". The night before the official release i listened to a snippet on Facebook. Thought that it is a good release, but i don't need it to be shipped from Australia to Germany. The next morning, when i got up, i recived the Bandcamp notification about the release and listened to the a-side (again) and then to the b-side "boombap fever". Baaam thinking about that i don't need this one the lyrics from "Das EFX" kicked in and ..... ..... I NEED THAT. So Australia got me once again this month. After "The Traffic" DJ Maars got me. Check the release HERE .
